Wellbeing Referral System

In September 2019 we introduced Ready To Learn - this focuses on ensuring EVERY child has the right to learn without disruption and improving well-being of all. We want to protect valuable learning time and ensure students stay focused in the classroom. For this, we need a strong approach to managing behaviour. We will ALL follow the policy summary below:

The Ready To Learn approach has already met with considerable success nationally in a number of other schools. Working together, we can ensure the best education for your child and continue to raise standards further still at Idris Davies School.

We view aggressive behaviour, acts which endanger self or others and extreme rudeness to member of staff to be serious breaches of school discipline. The school takes a clear stand against bullying and has an anti-bullying policy.
