Welcome from Mrs Morris (Senior Phase Achievement Leader)
We are very proud of the high-quality provision that we are able to offer you in the Senior Phase at Idris Davies School 3 to 18. All subjects are taught by specialist members of teaching staff in outstanding facilities both at the school and across the Upper Rhymney Collegium.
By joining our Senior Phase you will not only be accessing excellent teaching and learning across all the subjects that you select but will also have access to a comprehensive pastoral support team who will guide and support you throughout both your time in Year 12 & 13 and in planning for your next steps following completion of your studies here.
This information page is designed to give you a flavour of the curriculum, learning resources, wider activities and experiences that you can benefit from by applying to study in our Senior Phase. As well as wider involvement in the school and community you can be sure to have a full enriching experience that pupils fondly miss when they eventually do leave us progressing to university, apprenticeship schemes or even employment.
